Description

Celebrate World Whisky Day with the Penicillin, a bright and smoky Sassenach cocktail. Zesty lemon, candied ginger, honey-ginger syrup, and a touch of Islay single malt Scotch complement The Sassenach Blended Scotch Whisky.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces The Sassenach Blended Scotch Whisky
  • 3/4 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 3/4 ounce honey-ginger syrup
  • 1/4 ounce Islay single malt Scotch whisky
  • Candied ginger, for garnish
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Add the blended Scotch whisky, lemon juice, honey-ginger syrup, and Islay single malt Scotch to a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Shake, then strain over a large ice cube.
  3. Garnish with candied ginger.
