Creme de Menthe Cake

Description

This easy, showstopper dessert combines a light white cake with a bright mint kick — creme de menthe is folded into the batter, then the cooled cake is layered with rich chocolate fudge and a minty whipped topping. The result is a creamy, mint-chocolate treat that’s refreshing yet indulgent, perfect for holidays, dinner parties, or St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.

Tips: Use creme de menthe liqueur for authentic flavor, or substitute 1–2 teaspoons peppermint extract mixed with a little cream or milk for a non‑alcoholic version (adjust to taste). Chill the cake so the layers set cleanly, and garnish with chocolate shavings, crushed peppermint candies, or a few fresh mint leaves just before serving. Store refrigerated and enjoy cold.
